Hamilton Aqua Date 600 Super Compressor c.1968
Hamilton Aqua Date 600 Super Compressor c.1968
One of the most desirable vintage Hamilton watches made, this Hamilton 600 super compressor is a wonderful, collectible, and classic sport watch to own. While there are a fair amount of brands that sold Brevet-cased super compressor models, these light dialed Hamiltons stand out among a majority of black-dialed counterparts. When you see the classic American dive watches of the ‘60s and ‘70s, this one is almost always included — and for good reason.
This model is an excellent example of a Hamilton 600 — definitely better than most you’ll run across. With only small noticeable blemishes on the dial (and lume), the watch looks fantastic by most accounts, but I’ll let you be the judge!

[All vintage watches are expected to function as described. However, due to age and generally unknown service history (unless otherwise stated), these watches may not keep time as accurately as new or quartz (battery) watches. This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a major problem. Like your automobile, all mechanical watches will likely need to be serviced at some point in time. Please keep this in mind, as there is no guarantee regarding when these vintage watches may need standard maintenance. Every watch sold by Buying On Time is done so with the expectation that it is not currently in need of service or repair, unless noted. We guarantee that all watches sold are accurately described and in the stated condition when they leave our hands.]
