Bulova Oceanographer 'N' 333ft. Automatic Diver c.1970

$0.00

Of the lesser known Oceanographer variants, the ‘M’ and ‘N’ have become favorites for Bulova fans over the past few years (for obvious reasons). This Oceanographer ‘N’ model, when retaining its original Duchess bracelet, is as under-the-radar awesome as it gets for the Bulova brand.

With a lightly satin brushed silver dial, quasi-minimalist sector dial, contrasting red on the dial and sweep hand, and one fantastic, unique bracelet, it’s not hard to see why this one stands out as it does. The overall styling—combined with a 35mm case—makes for about as desirable of a bezel-less timepiece as once can imagine.

Because the vast majority of these models have less than superb dial/hands and rarely come with their original bracelet, if you really enjoy this style you won’t want to pass this example up. If “condition, condition, condition” is what you’re about, this is one to pull the trigger on.

———————————————————————————

Case: Excellent condition for its age with sharp edges and no prominent blemishes.

Dial: Near perfect; as good as can be hoped for!

[All vintage watches are expected to function as described. However, due to age and generally unknown service history (unless otherwise stated), these watches may not keep time as accurately as new or quartz (battery) watches. This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a major problem. Like your automobile, all mechanical watches will likely need to be serviced at some point in time. Please keep this in mind, as there is no guarantee regarding when these vintage watches may need standard maintenance. Every watch sold by Buying On Time is done so with the expectation that it is not currently in need of service or repair, unless noted. We guarantee that all watches sold are accurately described and in the stated condition when they leave our hands.]
