Bulova Oceanographer 333ft. Day/Date Two-Tone Diver c.1975

$0.00

For your consideration we have a very nice condition Oceanographer day/date variant, one that is certainly in the last variations of the original Oceanographer line, and potentially one of the very last fluted bezel offerings by Bulova before their acquisition by Loews Corp. in 1979.

With a wonderful starburst-finish dial, sporting a gold colored background with a muted navy quasi-sector ring or minute track, two-tone design, and curved oyster-like lugs, this piece packs a punch that extends equally well to both the sport & dress arenas.

The caseback depicts the original life this timepiece led: a service award/gift watch! As it reads on the back:

Charlie Thackston

In Appreciation

15 Years Faithful Service

Ralston Purina

Company

6-1-76

This beauty is paired with a new brown buffalo grain leather band, and is read to be worn and enjoyed for many more years of faithful service itself!

[All vintage watches are expected to function as described. However, due to age and generally unknown service history (unless otherwise stated), these watches may not keep time as accurately as new or quartz (battery) watches. This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a major problem. Like your automobile, all mechanical watches will likely need to be serviced at some point in time. Please keep this in mind, as there is no guarantee regarding when these vintage watches may need standard maintenance. Every watch sold by Buying On Time is done so with the expectation that it is not currently in need of service or repair, unless noted. We guarantee that all watches sold are accurately described and in the stated condition when they leave our hands.]
