Waltham Vietnam-Style Handwind c.1960's

$0.00

While the military issue watches of WWII and Vietnam are desirable pieces in their own right, the civilian advertised models of the same style can often be at least as desirable. Ever since Steve McQueen wore the Benrus civilian issue in “Bullitt” (made during the same period as this Waltham), the branded models seem to be in just as much demand.

With a uniquely different cushion case and slender, luminous pencil or candle-style hands, this timepiece has a great look and feel on the wrist. The red arrow second sweep hand is just icing on the cake.

If you’re a collector (or simply a fan) of Vietnam era watches, this is one of those models that is a nice addition to the collection. You can be assured you won’t see many, if any, floating around amongst the crowd.

[All vintage watches are expected to function as described. However, due to age and generally unknown service history (unless otherwise stated), these watches may not keep time as accurately as new or quartz (battery) watches. This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a major problem. Like your automobile, all mechanical watches will likely need to be serviced at some point in time. Please keep this in mind, as there is no guarantee regarding when these vintage watches may need standard maintenance. Every watch sold by Buying On Time is done so with the expectation that it is not currently in need of service or repair, unless noted. We guarantee that all watches sold are accurately described and in the stated condition when they leave our hands.]
