Wakmann Reverse Panda 7733 Chronograph c.1960's

$0.00

As much as the panda dial chronograph is coveted among classic and modern watch fans, the "reverse panda” seems to be every bit as popular these days. This beautiful Wakmann takes that design an extra step with a snow white tachymetre ring around the dial. Add to that the custard lume and nicely contrasting red minute register sector and you’ve got one highly wrist-worthy chronograph.

The case of this timepiece is solid stainless steel, which lends itself to much greater desirability for modern collectors. The chrono pushers of the era were often made of base metal, so you’ll see plenty of them with slightly worn-through plating on them, however this particular example has very subdued wear.

Accessorizing is a new larger grain Oak color genuine leather band with white accent stitching.

[All vintage watches are expected to function as described. However, due to age and generally unknown service history (unless otherwise stated), these watches may not keep time as accurately as new or quartz (battery) watches. This is completely normal and does not indicate that there is a major problem. Like your automobile, all mechanical watches will likely need to be serviced at some point in time. Please keep this in mind, as there is no guarantee regarding when these vintage watches may need standard maintenance. Every watch sold by Buying On Time is done so with the expectation that it is not currently in need of service or repair, unless noted. We guarantee that all watches sold are accurately described and in the stated condition when they leave our hands.]
